Corvus Energy appoints Will Walls as president


RICHMOND, B.C.
, December 18, 2012 – Corvus Energy is pleased to announce the appointment of Will Walls as president of Corvus Energy effectively immediately.  Mr. Walls will be based in the Richmond office and report to the Board of Directors.

Mr. Walls has 27 years of experience in senior financial and strategic leadership roles in a number of industries including clean-tech, telecommunications, software and construction.

“Will’s wide industry experience and strong ability to build capital structures and teams for rapid growth is a great complement to Corvus’ senior management team,” said Brent Perry, CEO of Corvus Energy. “He possesses experience in establishing and executing upon corporate partnerships and international joint ventures, which we believe is a valuable asset to Corvus as the company continues to grow.”

Most recently, Mr. Walls spent seven years in senior management roles with one of North America’s largest and most diverse construction companies, establishing their investments and partnerships in waste water, renewable energy, large Public Private Partnership road projects and the incubation of new shared services for large fleets/leasing and business process improvements.

In 1998, he helped structure the initial spin-off of 360networks and became VP Finance of this company through $6.5 billion of financings and strategic acquisitions undertaken quickly in the dynamic, feverish tech/telecom window of opportunities that existed during 1998-2001.

From 1985 to 1998, he held senior financial roles with various emerging enterprises¾both publicly listed and private¾in Canada, the U.S. and United Kingdom.
